Over the past…well over a year now…I’ve been working on a personal project regarding a certain love of mine: beer. I was going to wait until I got data entered for all 50 states, but since my sphere of influence isn’t quite that large (and after being poked by some friends) I’m very proud to present the soft launch of beerPilgrimage!
First off, to get an idea of my dream for the site – what is beerPilgrimage and what is its purpose – go check out the about page. This is a manifestation of my loves of the local, the far away and beer, and I want to share the joy that comes with it all with my users. If I can do at least that much, I’ve succeeded.
Data is in up from A – Minnesota, and I’ll probably skip to Wisconsin to get rid of that dead zone in the Great Lakes area. I acknowledge there are certainly many missing within those states. If you notice stuff missing, stuff broken or whatever, you can use the contact form or message me on here. I’d greatly appreciate it.
This blog will evolve with the site. For now, it’s primarily to keep you up to date with new breweries being added, but I’ll also be showcasing new features. Ultimately, I want it to be a place to tell the stories of users’ pilgrimages and the breweries they’ve visited.
